Migration to MTN Pulse is just as easy as E-C-E (IZI). Simply send/text 406 to 131, Dial *406*1# or *123*2*2#. Meanwhile, migration into Pulse is free of cost. But, if it is your subsequent migration within 30 days then you will be charged N100.

Once you are on MTN Pulse prepaid tariff plan...

And mind you, MTN Night Browsing bundle will NOT be activated for you as soon as you migrate to Pulse. You will be required to subscribe by initiating the night browsing data plan.

And please, be aware that your night browsing subscription will NOT be renewed automatically. You will need to subscribe once daily as per your choice of duration is to enjoy the cheap MTN night browsing.

How do I subscribe for MTN Night Browsing?

In order to subscribe for MTN Night browsing data plan, you need to follow the following procedures.

MTN Night Browsing - Daily Subscription Process

To subscribe for a day or daily MTN Night Browsing;
  • You MUST be on MTN Pulse Tariff plan as stressed earlier,
  • if you're already on this plan skip this step and proceed. But if you're not, follow MTN Pulse migration process aforementioned
  • Now, make sure you have at least N25 credit balance on your line
  • Simply, text Night to 131 and the subscription fee of N25 will be deducted upon successful process.
  • Wait till the processing is successful
  • If successful, you will get a prompt message which reads as thus:
  • Dear customer, you have successfully subscribed to Free Night Browsing between 00:00 and 04:00 AM. N25 has been deducted from your account.

    It is however advisable that you activate your night browsing anytime after 12:00 AM.

    The bundle is valid for 7 days after which it will be renewed.

    However, you will be able to purchase 500MB weekly bundle multiple times but all the data bundles purchased will have its own unique expiry dates.

    How To Cancel MTN Night Browsing Plan

    In any possible case, there might be the need to abort or cancel the MTN Night browsing.

    To achieve this is also simple. Deactivate your MTN night plan subscription to avoid auto renewal, simply text Stop Night to 131 on that particular line the data is active.

    What more you could subscribe for?

    You can subscribe to 500MB weekly bundle by sending 103 to 131 or by dialing *406*2# and the bundle fee of N500 will be deducted.

    You will then receive a total of 1GB but 500MB will be credited to your data main account while the 500MB bonus will be credited to the bonus account.

    You will be able to check your bundle balance by sending 2 to 131 or by dialing *131*4# and your bonus balance by dialing *559*63#.

    But mathematically, which one is better. After all, you are only here because MTN Night browsing is cheap... *wink*
