115 Different Sea Water Fish

We shall list the types of fishes in this article @TopifyNG. But before we list them out let's reason on the concept of "fish" itself.

What is a fish?

Yes! "What is a fish?" One of the question with most controversial answers ever, despite the fact that countless ichthyologists (i.e., scientists who study fish) have written innumerable pages on the subject. The definition of fish can vary according to human perspective and sometimes despite science. For instance, from a chef’s point of view, fishes come in two basic varieties—shellfish and finfish.

Although most fish live in water, some fishes, such as the walking catfish ( Clarias batrachus) or African lungfish ( Protopterus species) can spend considerable periods out of water. Furthermore, other fishes may spend much briefer, yet highly significant periods out of water, which allow them to feed (e.g., mudskippers, and sorts.

However, we've gathered an interesting list of types of fishes identified by ichthyologists so far.
